About The Position

Join Our Radiology Team as a CT Technologist Monday - Thursday 4pm-Midnight CT and X-ray, with a rotating holiday schedule. Shift Differential $4.00/hr! Make a meaningful impact by delivering exceptional imaging care and supporting patient safety. As a CT Technologist, you’ll serve as a vital link between the Radiology Department, hospital staff, physicians, and students. In this role, you will: Educate and protect patients entering the CT scanning room Assist with patient sedation and monitoring Support the training of Student Radiologic Technologists Contribute to quality assurance processes Your expertise ensures accurate imaging and a safe, comfortable experience for every patient Are you a current Radiology student? Requirements

  • Graduation from an AMA approved School of Radiology Technology
  • CT experience strongly preferred
  • ARRT CT Board Certification required within 6 months of hire.
  • Current Iowa Permit to Practice.
  • Maintain ARRT AND IDPH CEU requirements.
  • Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtain certification within three (3) months from date of hire.
  • Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English.
  • Multicultural sensitivity.
  • Critical thinking skills using independent judgment in making decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a liaison between the Radiology Department, students, hospital staff and physicians.
  • Educates and protects all customers entering the CT scanning room.
  • Assists with sedating and monitoring of patients.
  • Assists in the educational training of the Student Radiologic Technologists.
  • Assists with quality assurance processes.
