Requirements

• High School Grad or Equivalent
• ARRT-RADIO - Radiographer
• Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT)
• BCLS - Basic Life Support
• CRT - Certified Radiologic Technologist

Responsibilities

• Perform imaging for both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, adhering to age-specific guidelines and facility parameters.
• Conduct examinations according to established protocols and transmit images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Ensure the hospital computer system is kept current with the progress of these exams.
• Perform a variety of technical scanning procedures that require independent judgment and initiative.
• Assist physicians in performing procedures and maintain records of examinations performed.
• Provide quality patient care and perform high-quality images and exams with sensitivity to patient needs.
• Adhere to safe radiation practices and demonstrate leadership abilities.
• Act as a clinical resource and assume responsibility for related tasks as needed.
