About The Position

The CT Technologist is responsible for performing CT scan procedures according to Oaklawn Hospital standards. This role requires a commitment to excellence and a focus on helping others achieve their goals. The technologist will prepare images and reports for patients, order storeroom supplies for the department, and accurately perform all CT procedures common to Oaklawn Hospital. Additionally, the technologist will properly use all CT and PACS webserver tele-radiology equipment and follow precautionary procedures to ensure patient and employee safety.

Requirements

• Registered Radiological Technologist in CT or registry-eligible graduate.
• Registry-eligible technologist must receive CT certification within two attempts or one year of date of hire.
• BLS from American Red Cross or American Heart Association certification.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of cross sectional anatomy/physiology and disease process.
• Knowledge of quality control and all contrast media used in Imaging.
• Knowledge of sterile technique and the administration of nitroglycerin & lopressors.
• Skilled in building interpersonal relationships.
• Ability to monitor patient responses and assess multiple tasks.
