About The Position
The CT Technologist Registered performs CT examinations, including special procedure examinations, under the direct supervision of the Supervisor, Imaging Services and CT Section Head. This role requires a team-oriented individual with strong communication skills to interact effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent
- Graduate of an approved two year radiologic training program
- Must have the ability to function as a team member
- Ability to work cooperatively and communicate effectively with patients, staff members and physicians
- Registered with the ARRT
- Meets continuing education requirements set forth by the ARRT
- Registered in CT meeting continuing education requirements
- Meets the American Heart Association’s standards for Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) and renews BLS every two years
Nice To Haves
- Experience on GE Systems is preferred
- Two years’ work experience in CT is preferred
