About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking CT Technologist (Radiology) for an exciting job in Falmouth, MA.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Graduate of an accredited Radiography Program (AMA approved)
• ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required
• Valid Massachusetts State Radiologic License required
• Minimum experience: 3 years as a Radiologic Technologist OR 1 year of recent CT Technologist experience (within the last 5 years)
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong communication and patient care skills

Nice To Haves

• CT Certification (ARRT) or completion of an accredited CT program preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform CT imaging procedures with a high level of technical accuracy and attention to detail
• Operate CT control console and related imaging equipment
• Select appropriate imaging techniques and protocols
• Prepare, position, and monitor patients to ensure safety, comfort, and optimal imaging results
• Maintain and calibrate imaging equipment as needed
• Evaluate images for technical quality and completeness
• Follow all radiation protection and safety guidelines
• Assist physicians and nursing staff during procedures as required
• Administer contrast media when trained and authorized
• Maintain accurate and complete patient and imaging records
• Ensure compliance with infection control policies and departmental procedures
• Communicate effectively with patients to explain procedures and reduce anxiety
• Participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
