About The Position

The CT Technologist performs routine and specialized imaging procedures in the application of the ionizing radiation in accordance with the established professional and departmental standards. The CT Technologist provides high-quality computerized tomography images of the used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
(ARRT-R) Radiography
(RT) Radiologic Technologist/Radiographer
Vocational School Graduate, or Associate Degree

Responsibilities

Compassionately assist and position patients on CT table.
Start IVs for contrast injection and when necessary.
Assess image quality and make adjustments when necessary.
Release customers with proper post procedure instructions.
Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean / sterilize equipment.
Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
