The Computed Tomography team at Johns Hopkins is dedicated to providing the best possible images at the lowest possible dose. All technical and patient dose settings are customized for each patient and technologists actively partake in discussions on determining the best protocols for cases. Under the general supervision of the Chief CT Technologist and Senior CT technologist, performs CT protocols and procedures utilizing highly technical CT equipment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an AMA approved program for Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
  • Three to six months work experience in CT Imaging.
  • ARRT certified with current registration required.
  • Radiography license by the Maryland Board of Physicians required.
  • CPR certification required within three months of employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Post-primary ARRT Computed Tomography CT certification.

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT protocols and procedures utilizing highly technical CT equipment.
