About The Position

Menorah Medical Center is seeking a CT Technologist PRN to join our team. This role involves performing routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation, ensuring high-quality computerized tomography images for physician diagnosis and treatment. The CT Technologist will assist and position patients, start IVs for contrast injections, assess image quality, provide post-procedure instructions, and maintain a clean and safe environment by following aseptic techniques and radiation safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology.
• Adhere to ARRT guidelines of obtaining 24 continuing education credits every two years.
• ARRT-CT or NMTCB-CT certification or registry-eligible required within 6 months of hire.
• Must hold a current license with the Kansas board of healing arts.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification required.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as needed.
• Release patients with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Prepare the room using aseptic techniques between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
