Requirements

• Current ARRT certification in Radiography
• Florida license in Radiography

• CT cross training available

Responsibilities

• Performs Radiographic and CT imaging procedures.
• Positions, moves, and transports patients.
• Performs clerical duties.
• Assists Radiologist in performance of special imaging procedures.
• Performs basic patient care within scope of practice and to departmental standards.
• Participates in standby call.
• Processes radiographs, with correct patient demographic and examination information.
• Uses computer to enter and access patient information correctly and change procedure status and billing.
• Transports, lifts, moves, and positions patients as needed to properly and safely complete Radiographs.
• Prepares and administers radiographic contrast material as directed by the Radiologist.
• Starts IV’s when needed.
• Moves, positions and manipulates stationary and portable Radiographic equipment.
