About The Position

As a CT Technologist Multimodality with Overland Park Regional Medical Center, you will perform routine and specialized imaging procedures using ionizing radiation in accordance with established professional and departmental standards. You will provide high-quality computerized tomography images used by physicians for diagnosis and treatment. The role involves compassionately assisting and positioning patients, starting IVs for contrast injection, assessing image quality, and following radiation safety procedures. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to patient care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited AMA program with a certificate or degree in Radiology Technology preferred.
• Registered Computerized Tomography Technician (CT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• Registered Radiographer (ARRT) must be obtained within 1 year of employment start date.
• BCLS required within 30 days of start date.
• Two years of experience preferred with additional training in CT scanning.
• On Call Required and must have the ability to report to the facility within 30 minutes of call back.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately assist and position patients on the CT table.
• Start IVs for contrast injection when necessary.
• Assess image quality and make adjustments as necessary.
• Release customers with proper post-procedure instructions.
• Turn over and prepare the room using aseptic technique between patients and clean/sterilize equipment.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
