About Corewell Health Taylor Hospital Corwell Health Taylor Hospital is a 148-bed hospital that is a recognized health care leader in the metro Detroit area. Proudly serving Taylor and surrounding communities since 1977, it offers specialty services including 24-hour emergency care, wound care and hyperbaric oxygen therapy, a surgical pavilion, a pain management clinic, orthopedic surgery, inpatient rehabilitation facility and full-service radiology, including advanced CT w/cardiac scoring, Fixed MRI including pacemaker, cinema vision and ultrasound (MSK & elastography). Scope of work Under general direction, provides coordination of technical and support personnel involved with the acquisition and processing of CT exams. Assigns and monitors the work of CT technologists to optimize quality and efficiency. Oversees the compliance of policies/procedures to ensure departmental standards are met. Performs clinical instruction as requested. Always follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care.

Requirements

  • Associate's Degree
  • Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program.
  • 1 year of relevant experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience beyond staff radiographer level.
  • CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Upon Hire required
  • CRT-Computerized Tomography (CT) - ARDMS American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography Excludes team members hired prior to 2008.
  • 1 Year required
  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association Upon Hire required
  • Or CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross Upon Hire required

Responsibilities
