Education: Two (2) years of college. Experience / Qualifications: Current State of Florida License. Current ARRT, CT Registry Required or obtained within 6 months of hire date. American Heart Association BLS, for Heath Care Provider Proficient computer skills. Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. Position Summary The CT Technologist performs all CT procedures, abdominal, pelvic, head/skull, thorax, and extremities. Demonstrates knowledge of advanced computer applications including PACS and Image manipulation for image enhancement. Demonstrates advanced knowledge of the human anatomy & pathology and can use this knowledge to provide quality CT images for interpretation. Performs other duties as assigned. Physical Requirements Must be able to sit, stand, walk for long periods of time, be flexible enough to twist, bend, lift, assist, transport patients via wheelchair & stretcher. Be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., perform CPR and patient assessment. Threshold Requirements These threshold requirements are required and completed yearly basis. Annual Joint Commission mandatory education requirements, in-service and health requirements including attendance at new employee orientation. TB/PPD Surveillance Program. Requirements
