About The Position

The CT Technologist II performs CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, ensuring adherence to departmental standards, policies, and procedures. Key responsibilities include preparing patients for exams by obtaining history, explaining procedures, positioning, and ensuring comfort, as well as completing all necessary paperwork and submitting images to a radiologist in a timely manner, and reviewing CTs for optimum quality. Requirements

  • Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
  • CPR Certification required
  • Advanced CT Certification required
  • Previous CT Technologist experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required

Nice To Haves

  • At least 5 years of CT Technologist experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
  • Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
  • Complete all paperwork and submit images to a radiologist in a timely manner
  • Review CT's to ensure optimum quality
