About The Position

The CT Technologist II position at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL involves operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to obtain images for diagnostic purposes. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure required.
• Must be a candidate for ARRT (R) certification and complete it within six months.
• ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of start date.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues.
• Prior CT experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with post processing for CTA-Perfusion/Siemens.
• Willingness to cross-train to CT.

Responsibilities

• Operates computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain filmed images for use by physicians.
• Positions patients for procedures and administers injections of contrast media.
• Operates scanners to visualize pathologies and manipulates images for optimal results.
• Delivers customer service by being attentive to patients' needs and concerns.
• Explains procedures to patients, addressing questions to reduce anxiety.
