About The Position

The CT Technologist position at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL involves operating computerized tomography (CT) scanners to obtain images for diagnostic purposes. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s Degree preferred.
• IEMA licensure required.
• Must be a candidate for ARRT (R) certification and complete the exam within six months.
• ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of start date.
• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong computer skills and ability to troubleshoot software issues.
• Preferred experience in post-processing for CTA-Perfusion/Siemen.
• Prior CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate computerized tomography (CT) scanner to obtain images for diagnosis and treatment.
• Position patients for procedures and administer injections of contrast media.
• Manipulate images to achieve the best possible results and reproduce images on film.
• Deliver excellent customer service, maintaining eye contact and positive body language.
• Explain procedures to patients, addressing their questions to reduce anxiety.
