About The Position
Sentara is currently hiring a CAT Scan Technologist in Williamsburg, Virginia This is a Full-Time Day shift opportunity!!! As a CAT Scan Technologist, you will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT-guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. Sentara Williamsburg Regional Medical Center , a Certified Primary Stroke Center, has 145 licensed beds and features the latest healthcare technologies, serving the region with the life-saving capabilities of an ultra-modern medical center. The hospital offers a full range of medical care from emergency heart catheterization to all-inclusive obstetrics care where patients can stay in one room. Requirements
- Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
- ARRT or CNMT is required
- Basic Life Support
- Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire (to include mergers and acquisitions).
