About The Position

Responsible for obtaining diagnostic quality computed tomography (CT scans)
images according to pre-established guidelines. Schedules and observes
time-management techniques according to departmental productivity and efficiency
standards while observing a quality patient care experience.

Requirements

• Graduate of a radiographer program.
• Licensure in Medical Radiation with the state of Mississippi and Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiology required.
• Regularly exposed to the risk of bloodborne/airborne disease
• contact with patients under a wide variety of circumstances
• exposed to unpleasant elements (accidents, injuries, chemicals and illness)
• subject to varying and unpredictable situations
• able to handle emergency, crisis or pressured situations
• subject to multiple interruptions
• occasionally subject to extended or irregular hours
• requires judgment/actions that impact patient outcomes.
