About The Position
At NorthBay Health the C/T Technologist performs general radiographic studies, according to established Q.A. criteria. Scans and organizes images, completes required paper work and charges. Responsible for patient safety and well-being during examinations. Assists and instructs patients during examinations. Performs bedside radiography. Assists with clerical duties. Requirements
- Graduate of an AMA approved radiology course or training and experience prior to 2000
- Current CA CRT with Fluoroscopic permit
- Possession of a venipuncture permit or documented venipuncture training prior to January 1, 2013, or possession of a venipuncture permit with 10 venipunctures after January 203, and venipunctures completed within 1 month of hire
- AHA or equivalent BLS Certification required
- Two or more years of experience in general radiology, at least one year of C/T
- Some clerical and computer experience
- Practices principles of ALARA
- Demonstrates the True North values
