About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures using Computed Tomography (CT) equipment to obtain and analyze patient diagnostic data. The technologist will be responsible for performing CT imaging procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and maintaining accurate imaging documentation within hospital imaging systems. This role works closely with physicians and healthcare staff to produce high-quality diagnostic images that support patient diagnosis and treatment.

Requirements

  • Completion of an accredited Radiologic Science program (or completion within 3 months of application)
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or registry eligible
  • Advanced CT certification required within 1 year of employment
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers required
  • Must maintain registry status and continuing education requirements
  • Education, training, or experience demonstrating the ability to perform CT imaging procedures effectively

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT imaging procedures according to established clinical protocols
  • Verify patient identification and obtain relevant patient history prior to procedures
  • Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during imaging procedures
  • Conduct CT scans including multi-planar and 3D reconstruction imaging
  • Administer oral and IV contrast following appropriate safety and injection procedures
  • Review laboratory values and confirm patient eligibility prior to contrast administration
  • Maintain accurate image transfer and documentation within PACS, EMR, and imaging systems
  • Verify correct patient demographics and imaging information
  • Maintain proper charge capture and prevent duplicate orders or billing errors
  • Support workflow efficiency and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Assist with training and precepting new employees and students
  • Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives
