About The Position

St. Mary's is a 229-bed, acute care hospital located in Enid, OK. St. Mary's Regional Medical Center has served the healthcare needs of northwest Oklahoma for more than 100 years. We host more than 125 highly skilled physicians offering specialties in Cardiology, Neurology, Orthopedics, Emergency Medicine, Rehabilitation, Laboratory, Women's Imaging, Wound Care, and more. The CT Technologist performs CT examinations at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Communicates with radiologists and special imaging coordinator for exam protocols. Maintains optimal patient images with as minimal as possible radiation exposure through review of techniques/protocols and monitoring of radiation dosage. Call is required.

Responsibilities

• Performs all CT exams in a professional manner obtaining consistently high-quality images.
• Maintains scheduled workload while accommodating adds on requests.
• Ensures radiation safety protection for self, co-workers, patients, physicians and visitors.
• Documents and records information required on Images in PACS, and Cerner Radnet system.
• Provides appropriate patient history to Radiologists and enters this information into PACS.
