Bronson Methodist Hospital is seeking multiple Full Time CT Technologists for 72 hours per pay period. The position involves performing a full range of duties to assist radiologists during special invasive and non-invasive radiographic scans, as well as other diagnostic radiology work on a variety of patients. Employees providing direct patient care must demonstrate competencies specific to the population served. The role requires travel to system locations as needed.

Perform CT scans on any and all parts of the body as ordered by the physician.
Assist Radiologists during special procedure studies to provide optimal Diagnostic/Special Radiology examinations.
Prepare and calibrate equipment for procedures.
Administer or assist in the administration of contrast media under the direction of the Radiologist.
Maintain cleanliness of procedure rooms and equipment.
Observe and practice sterile technique and prevent cross-contamination of contagious diseases.
Maintain accurate documentation of patient and file information.
Demonstrate or oversee on-the-job training for student technologists and other non-professional assistants as assigned.

Associate's degree from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered ARRT (R) upon hire; must receive ARRT CT certification within 15 months from hire date.
Registered ARRT (NM) or NMTCB must receive ARRT CT certification within 15 months from hire date.
BLS required within 6 months after hire.
Excellent human relation skills to deal with patients, physicians, and others in sensitive situations.
Customer service orientation.
Leadership and organization skills, including the ability to work independently and take initiative.

Advanced certification in CT needs to be attempted to be completed at 12 months, and completed at no longer than 15 months from date of employment.
Ability to operate and perform basic computer programs associated with record keeping.
