About The Position

The CT technologist performs CT examinations on IP, OP, and ECC patients. Exams are performed per approved radiologist protocol. The technologist obtains patient history, explains procedure, obtains IV access, injects contrast in addition to operating the CT scanner. The CT technologist will perform all duties within the department to include standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as deemed necessary. The CT technologist will perform any and all duties in addition to meet the needs of the hospital and as deemed necessary by their supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT examinations on IP, OP, and ECC patients.
• Obtain patient history and explain procedures.
• Obtain IV access and inject contrast.
• Operate the CT scanner.
• Perform standard exams, biopsies, and other special exams as necessary.
• Meet the needs of the hospital as deemed necessary by the supervisor.
