The Non - Certified CT Technologist works collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and is responsible for providing quality images under the direct supervision of a licensed CT Technologist. The Non - Certified CT Technologist works in support of the Radiologist, aiding in the performance of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Responsible for processing and transmission of images to PACS. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will complete all required competencies, exams, and didactics that are required to sit for and complete the ARRT CT examination within 6 months of hire. This is a training position in the CT department. The Non-Certified CT Technologist will work under the supervision of the certified CT Technologist until ARRT-CT certification has been obtained.

Requirements

  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience is preferred.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology is required.
  • Radiology state license is required.
  • Current ARRT- RT Certification is required upon hire
  • ARRT- CT Certification obtained within 6 months of hire.
  • Must possess and maintain BCLS (AHA) upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities
