About The Position

Corewell Health William Beaumont University Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our team after a 16-week paid apprenticeship program. This position will involve working the midnight shift with rotating weekends. The hospital, which opened in 1955, has grown to become a major academic and referral center with 1,101 beds and various residency and fellowship programs. The role involves performing diagnostic CT exams under general supervision, ensuring high-quality imaging while adhering to radiation protection principles.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree from a JRCERT Accredited Radiography program.
• CRT-Radiologic Technologist Registration - ARRT or equivalent upon hire.
• CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from AHA or ARC upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment.
• Demonstrate good clinical skills to provide the best possible images for interpretation.
• Apply ALARA principles of radiation protection during imaging procedures.
