About The Position

Exciting opportunities as we expand our CT Scan department. Emerson Hospital is adding another CT Scanner on its hospital campus and we are expanding our staff of CT Scan Technologists as well. Job Summary: Reporting to the Section Leader of CT, uses computed tomography to produce images that assist in the diagnosis of disease and injury.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
• One or more years' experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
• Current registration as an R.T.(R)(ARRT).
• Current advanced CT registration or within one year of hire.
• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required.
• BLS healthcare provider required.
• Must have IV skills and proficiency in iodinated contrast media according to ACR guidelines.
• High level of cross-sectional anatomy and medical terminology knowledge.
• Proficient at performing a variety of diagnostic CT scans.
• Computer proficient, including PACS and HIS/RIS.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Use computed tomography to produce images for diagnosis.
• Report to the Section Leader of CT.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
