About The Position

The CT Technician is responsible for performing computed tomography imaging procedures to produce high-quality cross-sectional images for diagnostic interpretation. This role requires professional judgment, technical expertise, and a strong commitment to patient safety, quality care, and customer service.

Requirements

• Active ARRT Certification with CT Credential
• Registered Radiologic Technologist R.T.(R)(CT)(ARRT)
• Prior CT experience required
• Competency in special imaging techniques, IV contrast administration, and cross-sectional anatomy preferred
• Ability to work independently during night shifts
• Strong communication and patient service skills

Nice To Haves

• Experience in high-volume CT departments
• Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy
• Flexibility with floating assignments and on-call coverage

Responsibilities

• Perform CT scans and related imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Demonstrate professional judgment in patient positioning, image acquisition, and radiation safety
• Perform IV contrast administration following competency guidelines and safety standards
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images through proper technique and equipment use
• Provide excellent patient-centered care using AIDET customer service principles
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Operate and troubleshoot CT imaging equipment as needed
• May assist with diagnostic radiologic technologist duties when required
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA, safety regulations, and departmental policies
• Float between designated locations as operationally needed
