About The Position

Sentara Albemarle Regional Medical Center is currently hiring a full-time CT Tech for the night shift, Monday - Thursday 10:00pm - 7:30am! The CT Technologist will perform Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations. This is an exciting time to join our team as we look to the future of our new facility with anticipated completion in 2025! The replacement hospital will be built on a 135-acre site near Halstead Boulevard Extended and Thunder Road in Elizabeth City and will feature a modern, high-efficiency, patient-centric layout including a new medical office building. Requirements

  • Trade school graduate - Radiologic Technology.
  • ARRT or CNMT certification.
  • Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire.
  • No prior experience required.

Responsibilities
