About The Position

The technologists are under the general supervision of the Special Imaging Supervisor/Director of Imaging Services, and the clinical direction of the Radiology Medical Director. The technologist will perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level as outlined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiological technology.
  • Certified by American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, ARRT (R).
  • Licensure by the Indiana State Board of Health must be obtained and kept current.
  • Registry eligible is acceptable but passage of test must be completed within one year of graduation.
  • One year specialized training/experience in order to acquire a suitable knowledge of anatomy and physiology and in depth knowledge of CT theory and expertise in scanning procedures and technique.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred CT Certification by ARRT, or meets eligibility requirements for examinations.
  • As a condition of employment, the member is required to take and pass the Advanced Specialty Registry within the first year of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Perform diagnostic procedures at a technical level as outlined in the Department Policy and Procedure Manual.
  • Provide care for Neonates, Infants, Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients/family served.
