About The Position

Where You’ll Work At CommonSpirit Mountain Region, we believe in the healing power of humanity and serving the common good through our dedicated work and shared mission to celebrate humankindness. The Imaging department at Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake consist of 25-30 employees working in X-ray, CT, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, Ultrasound, Mammography, and Special Procedures. Many employees cover multiple modalities, but that is not required. We have multiple x-ray rooms, 1 CT, 1 MRI, 1 mammography unit, 2 nuclear medicine units, a specials suite, and 2 US units. The patient population ranges from elderly patients down to young adults. We do not see very many pediatric patients but knowledge for pediatric imaging is required. We also encourage growth within the department and accommodate training when employees express interested in learning another modality or developing management skills. We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. In this role as a CT Technologist you will: Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs. Follow standards of safe radiation practice. Demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists. Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel. Assure current standards of practice for the unit. 15% PRN Differential

Requirements

  • One year of related experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry
  • ARRT(R) with CT training required
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
