About The Position

This is a part-time (24 hours/week) role. Shift information: 930am-6pm, 3 days a week. Radiology candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with University Hospitals are eligible for: Competitive hourly rate Enhanced PTO for candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience Sign-on bonus ($10,000 for full-time or $5,000 for part-time). Tuition reimbursement after six months Career Ladder Progression What You Will Do Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT. Patient care during visit to CT according to expected service excellence standards. Use administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department. Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers and staff. Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers. Adheres to hospital CT safety standards. Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment. Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics. Collaborates effectively with co-workers in a timely manner while displaying a positive attitude. Additional Responsibilities Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation. Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
  • Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers. (Required proficiency)
  • Used to send and obtain patient information for care. (Required proficiency)
  • Ability to perform procedures specific to area. (Required proficiency)
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) (Required)
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and Current Ohio license. (Required)
  • CT Certification (Required within 1 Year)
  • Current Ohio license. (Required)

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years as radiologic technologist (Preferred)
