About The Position

Where You’ll Work Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital is a 26-bed facility serving the community since 1951 with a comprehensive range of inpatient and outpatient services. For more than 60 years, Bob Wilson Memorial Hospital has provided access to health care close to home for the families of Ulysses, Kansas and surrounding communities. Services include Case Management, CT Scan, Diabetic education, dietary consult, EEG/EKG, emergency care, laboratory, MRI, mammography, nuclear medicine, obstetrics (prenatal, postpartum, delivery), midwifery, primary and specialty clinics, physical therapy, radiology, respiratory therapy, surgery, swing beds and ultrasound. We provide quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department. In this role as a CT Technologist you will:

Requirements

One year of related experience
High School Diploma or GED required
ARRT(CT), ARRT(N), ARRT(T) or CNMT registry required or State CT registry
ARRT(R) with CT training required
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association required
Medium Work - (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

Nice To Haves

Associate’s Degree strongly preferred
Bachelor’s Degree preferred

Responsibilities

Perform high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining the sensitivity to patient needs.
Follow standards of safe radiation practice.
Demonstrate leadership for other associate technologists.
Act as a clinical resource to unit personnel.
Assure current standards of practice for the unit.
