Get to Know Your Team: Hillcrest Hospital Pryor is a 48-bed acute care hospital that provides a range of health care services to the community, including emergency services, urology, ENT, gastroenterology, cardiology, orthopedics, general surgery, and wound care.
Requirements
- Technical or Associate's radiography degree
- Must be registered or registry eligible with the ARRT
- If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment
- Maintain registry while employed
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Responsibilities
- Obtain a high standard of imaging and positioning
- Coordinate patient prepping and scanning to maximize smooth patient flow
- Transport patients to and from the department
- Communicate with physicians, patients, families, and other hospital personnel
- Handle telephone scheduling procedures and operate the PACS computer system
