About The Position

Elite Staffing Network is seeking a CT Tech. We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our clients medical imaging team. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic evaluations using CT scans and other medical imaging techniques. Your expertise in anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging will play a crucial role in assisting physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Day shift (8 am - 4:30 pm) Monday - Friday On call required BLS/ARRT-R required for submission 6 mo. contract w/ 6 mo. option $50/hr. Benefits: Aptive-employed candidates will receive medical/dental/vision benefit package options as well as retirement plan benefits and a PTO accrual scheduled that can be used for time off, sick days, etc. Other benefits may be available to them depending on assignment length. Hours: Start time will be anywhere from 7am-9am local time. These roles attend OR and this VA is a Level 2 trauma facility - they could go in at 7am for something urgent as an example but may regularly be scheduled for a later start time no later than 9am. End times will vary depending on start time and the PWS is source of truth for that range of hours.

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or a related field
  • Valid certification as a CT Technologist (AART)
  • BLS or First Aid Certification
  • Proficiency in performing CT scans, mammography, X-ray, and sonography procedures
  • In-depth knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical imaging techniques
  • Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation processes and protocols
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals

Responsibilities

  • Perform CT scans on patients using specialized equipment and techniques
  • Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and answering any questions
  • Position patients correctly to obtain accurate images
  • Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture images of the patient's body
  • Ensure patient safety during procedures by following established protocols
  • Evaluate the quality of images and make adjustments as necessary
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze scan results
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed
