About The Position

The CT Technologist accepts the responsibility and accountability for the duties of a Cat Scan Technologist. Must be registered by the A.R.R.T. Requirements

Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
Registered Computed Tomography Technologist must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
Registered Radiographer (ARRT)

Responsibilities

Provide quality Cat Scan exams for interpretation by the Radiologist.
Maintain and apply current Cat Scan standards and clinical competency including age competency.
Apply critical thinking skills in conjunction with facility policies and procedures to prioritize and problem solve.
Quality patient care, contrast media administration, quality control, patient documentation, record maintenance.
