About The Position

What You’ll Do Our CT Technologists are responsible for providing computed tomography imaging, performing a variety of imaging procedures and patient care services at defined levels to patients of all ages. Check and prepares patients prior to CT Study Obtains patient history, explains standard procedures, and addresses patient concerns. Produces computerized tomographic scanner radiographs of specific areas as required by the departmental procedures. Functions as the first line interface with patients in the successful accomplishment of their imaging needs. Participates actively in Performance Improvement, Radiation Safety, Patient Satisfaction, Radiological Patient and Physician Education, Continuous Quality Improvement, and other various committee/meetings as assigned. Performs a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Graduation from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists registration in Radiography.
  • ARRT (CT) license required.
  • Must have current BLS card within 3 months of initial employment and maintain current status throughout GRHD employment.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate Degree of applied science in Radiologic Technology and/or Bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences from an AMA approved school preferred.
  • Prefer one year of professional radiology experience in a hospital patient care setting.
