Schedule : PRN Shift :Days The community you'll be caring for : AdventHealth Connerton Specialty hospital for medically complex patients Pulmonary and Vapotherm Center of Excellence Staff consists of all Registered Respiratory Therapist, 65% BSN or above RNs, Current staff certifications include CCRN, PCCN, CNML, WCNC, NEA-BC, and RN-BC Onsite BSN completion program partnership with South University with staff discounted rate Simulation Lab and Clinical Transition Pilot Program Free prep courses for national certifications Robust atmosphere for Clinicals - partnerships with multiple nursing, pharmacy, therapy and respiratory schools. Full time chaplain on staff Team Member rewards and recognition programs to include: Daisy (RN), Employee of the Quarter, Phil (Respiratory), Service Awards, TWCE as Nice The role you'll contribute : Responsible for performing CT imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. Positions, moves, and assists patients to ensure accurate imaging results. This role performs clerical duties and provides basic patient care within the scope of practice and departmental standards. In addition, this position adheres to compliance plans and regulations of local, state, and federal agencies.

Requirements

High School Grad or Equiv Required
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Required
Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT) Required
Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

Maintains accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) and PACS systems.
Educates patients about the exam and complete all exams in a timely manner, maintaining workflow and minimizing empty table time.
Operates all imaging equipment safely and properly, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, adapting protocols for patients of all ages.
Practicing infection control standards and using approved PPE and disinfectant agents.
Follows department protocols for patient identification, informed consent, and time-out procedures prior to starting exams.
