Under supervision of the Director of Radiology and the Assistant Director of Radiology, the Imaging Technologist III is a high-level, experienced x-ray or sonography position performing a wide variety of imaging exams on patients. Radiology provides services on a 24/7/365 basis and this position can be scheduled to work for any shift, any day (including weekends and holidays), and may include call rotations as needed. Position may be scheduled at any imaging facility within the Gibson Area Hospital & Health Services organization. Position consists of one of the following technologists: 1. A technologist registered by the ARRT as a R.T.(R) with active license issued by the IEMA; Division of Nuclear Safety. In addition, an Imaging Technologist III will have two or more (2+) advanced ARRT certifications in Mammography, Computed Tomography, Magnetic Resonance Imaging, Quality Management, Bone Densitometry, Cardiac-Interventional Radiography, or Vascular Interventional Radiography. RPA or RA licensure in good standing also qualifies as an Imaging Technologist III. 2. An ARDMS registered sonographer with 2 or more ARDMS specialty certifications. 3. A technologist registered by the ARRT as a R.T.(R) with active license issued by the IEMA; Division of Nuclear Safety, who is also an ARDMS or CCI registered sonographer with 2 or more ARDMS specialty certifications 4.
