About The Position

CT Tech - Radiology Computed Tomography Technologist--PRN HERE’S WHAT YOU WILL NEED: Other – Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology required or Associate degree preferred. Other – CLIAFE; Must comply with CLIA regulations regarding foreign education equivalency required. 1-year radiologic technician experience w/out ARRT – CT required or No experience w/ ARRT – CT required ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, R, upon hire required and ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic, CT, w/no radiology technician experience upon hire or ARRT – American Registry of Radiologic Technologist, CT, w/1 year radiology technician experience within 12 months of hire and CMRT – Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist, either by TDH or TMB, upon hire and BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly required. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Imaging Quality and Processing: Explains procedures to patient or guardian / family member if applicable prior to exam. Performs complex procedures including age related criteria and developmental considerations. Assists radiologist with complex and invasive procedures using aseptic technique. Correctly sends and transfers images to PACS. Requirements
