Requirements

• High School Grad or Equiv Required
• 0+ Work Experience Required
• ARRT - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (ARRT-MR) Required
• Registered Computed Tomography Technician (RTCTARRT) Required
• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required

Responsibilities

• Imaging both neuro and body scans on patients from neonate to geriatric, following the age specific guidelines of FH parameters.
• Transmitting images for diagnostic interpretation.
• Keeping the hospital computer system up to date with the progress of these exams.
• Actively participating in outstanding customer service.
• Maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.
• Implementing the principles of Florida Hospital.
• Accepting additional duties in the department, such as keeping, counting and recording of statistics.
• Tracking and ordering supplies.
• Performing complicated 3D and CTA workstation studies.
• Overseeing smooth operations of campus locations.
• Performing the more difficult exams.
• Teaching students/new technologists.
• Other tasks as assigned by the department manager.
