About The Position

The position involves demonstrating successful technical and patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT. The role requires providing patient care during visits to CT according to expected service excellence standards, using administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department, and collaborating effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers and staff. The individual will initiate and maintain positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers, adhere to hospital CT safety standards, and take responsibility for self-development while supporting a learning environment. The position also requires providing age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics and performing other duties as assigned while complying with all policies and standards.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 1+ years as a radiologic technologist (preferred).
  • Proficiency in using a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers.
  • Ability to send and obtain patient information for care.
  • Ability to perform procedures specific to the area.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) certification and current Ohio license.
  • CT Certification (required within 1 year) and current Ohio license.
