Under a radiologist#s or supervisor#s direction, the CT Technologist performs computerized tomography procedures. This role performs various technical procedures that require independent judgment to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiologic diagnosis and data entry operations using appropriate hospital software packages. The technologist provides specialized technical skills, critical thinking, problem-solving, and medical knowledge, including anatomy, physiology, and pathophysiology. You will be correlating related patient data and applying physics principles to obtain optimal images for rendering a diagnosis.
