Make a difference in Imaging! As a Per Diem CT Technologist at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, you will have the opportunity to work 8-hour shifts on an as-needed basis, including weekdays and weekends. The CT Technologist, under direct supervision, uses computerized tomography scanners to produce cross-section images of patient's internal organs and tissues for diagnosis of medical issues.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology program required
• ARRT (R) required
• ARRT (CT) required or willing to obtain within one year from start date
• California Radiologic Technologist (CRT) certification required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association required
• Venipuncture certification required
• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Scan Technologist preferred

Responsibilities

• Accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions
• Administer contrast material
• Prepare and operate CT scan equipment
• Ability to position patient to capture appropriate images
• Send images to Radiologist for interpretation/reading
• Cleans and disinfects patient rooms
• Follow infection control and safety guidelines
