About The Position

The Multi-Modal Technologist reports to the designated leader(s) within the Radiology/Imaging Department. This position performs diagnostic procedures with skill and without requiring constant supervision in more than one (1) modality, OR, two (2) specialties within the same modality. This position will require independent judgment and initiative of a technical level. Requirements

High School Graduate or equivilent required.
Diploma / Certification from certified school of Primary Imaging Modality required.
One (1) or more years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or Ultra Sound Technologist required, acute care experience preferred.
Six (6) months of experience in two (2) or more modalities (i.e. CT, MR, IR, NM, US, or Cath Lab) required, acute care experience preferred.
Current Florida Radiology Technologist (CRT) license with fluoroscopy licensure if required by state.
Current American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license required Or - must be obtained within 12 months of start date and maintained current thereafter.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) required.
