About the position
Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. The position involves performing duties related to a variety of technical procedures that apply ionizing radiation for detecting pathology, including but not limited to arteriograms and computerized tomography (CT).
Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent required
- Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
- Active primary Radiography registry through the ARRT(R) or NMTCB
- Actively working to achieve the primary ARRT(R)(CT) or NMTCB(CT) registry status within twelve months of hire
- Completion of a three-month training course and clinical hours provided by Baptist Health
- Possess reasoning and good independent judgment
- Ability to work within rigid time constraints
- Awareness of patient conditions at all times
- Demonstrate effective communication skills
