About the position

Baptist Health is the largest healthcare system serving central Alabama, providing comprehensive hospital-based and outpatient services to nearly 60 percent of the residents in Montgomery, Autauga and Elmore counties. The position involves performing duties related to a variety of technical procedures that apply ionizing radiation for detecting pathology, including but not limited to arteriograms and computerized tomography (CT).

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Graduate of a School of Radiologic Technology
  • Active primary Radiography registry through the ARRT(R) or NMTCB
  • Actively working to achieve the primary ARRT(R)(CT) or NMTCB(CT) registry status within twelve months of hire
  • Completion of a three-month training course and clinical hours provided by Baptist Health
  • Possess reasoning and good independent judgment
  • Ability to work within rigid time constraints
  • Awareness of patient conditions at all times
  • Demonstrate effective communication skills

  • AART Computed Tomography (CT) or NMTCB Computed Tomography (CT)
