About The Position

Are you a highly skilled, meticulous CT Technologist driven by diagnostic excellence and patient care? Join our cutting-edge imaging team! You'll perform accurate CT exams ensuring safe operation and clear, comprehensive images that guide effective treatment. You will: Execute All Diagnostic CT Studies: Skillfully operate the Scanner and associated patient care equipment. Patient-Centered Care: Identify patients, verify orders, explain procedures to ease anxiety, and ensure minimal radiation exposure. Clinical Judgment: Use sound judgment for additional views/Radiologist consultation; manage outside film communications. Efficient Operations: Log patient data; manage equipment issues; optimize patient flow and prioritize studies. Patient Safety & Comfort: Use universal precautions; be prepared for emergencies (suction, drugs); ensure patient comfort/radiation protection (lead, protocols). Accurate Records: Enter patient data precisely in the computer; ensure exams/supplies are filled. Continuous Learning: Pursue CE; participate in meetings; assist new staff; identify personal learning needs. Policy & Safety Adherence: Comply with Diagnostic Imaging policies, safety/risk management, Universal Precautions (PPE); report hazards; ensure age-appropriate care. Relocation assistance offered!

Requirements

  • CT Technical Mastery: Expert in operating CT equipment (GE LightSpeed Scanner) and performing studies.
  • Patient Communication & Empathy: Explain procedures clearly and empathetically.
  • Acute Observation & Problem-Solving: Identify issues, troubleshoot equipment, and use sound clinical judgment.
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiological Technology.
  • One (1) year successful employment as a CT Technologist.
  • MRAD:OR (Medical Radiographer: OR) OR RTCT (Registered Technologist Computed Tomography). (Other accepted ARRT certs: RTR, RTBD, RTCV, RTM, RTMR, RTN, RTQM, RTT, RTVI, RTVS).
  • Basic Life Support
