About The Position

The CT Tech will independently perform computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. The role requires working under their scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The CT Tech will coordinate patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner, exercising professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition. There may be responsibilities to perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs, and on-call responsibilities may be required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• CT registry preferred.
• ODH licensure required.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience or additional training in specialized field of CT.
