About The Position

The CT Tech at Atrium Medical Center is responsible for independently performing computed tomography (CT) procedures utilizing proper techniques and administration of contrast media. The role requires working under the scope of practice and in accordance with certificate/licensure in the administration of medications, operation of equipment, and venipuncture. The CT Tech coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT scanner, exercising professional judgment to maintain equipment in good working condition. There may be responsibilities to perform procedures in other imaging modalities or at other facilities based on departmental needs, and on-call responsibilities may also be required.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Radiologic Technology.
• CPR Certification required.
• ARRT RT (R) registry required.
• ODH licensure required.

Nice To Haves

• CT registry preferred.
• One year experience or additional training in specialized field of CT.
