About The Position

This is a PRN position focused on implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT. The role involves providing patient care during visits to CT, adhering to service excellence standards, and using administrative skills to support the department's operations. The position requires effective collaboration with coworkers and staff, maintaining positive relationships with patients and customers, and adhering to hospital CT safety standards. The individual will take responsibility for self-development and support a learning environment, providing age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics. Additional responsibilities include performing other duties as assigned and complying with all policies and standards, including the secure maintenance of Protected Health Information (PHI).

Requirements

  • Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
  • 1+ years as a radiologic technologist (preferred).
  • Proficiency in using CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers.
  • Ability to send and obtain patient information for care.
  • Ability to perform procedures specific to the area.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) certification and current Ohio license.
  • CT Certification (required within 1 year) and current Ohio license.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers and staff.

  • Adhere to hospital CT safety standards.

  • Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all policies and standards regarding PHI.
