About The Position

Radiology candidates who accept a part-time or full-time position with University Hospitals are eligible for a competitive hourly rate, enhanced PTO for candidates with 5+ years of relevant work experience, a sign-on bonus ($10,000 for full-time or $5,000 for part-time), tuition reimbursement after six months, and career ladder progression.

Requirements

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• 1+ years as radiologic technologist (Preferred).
• Uses a variety of equipment specific to the area, including CT scanners, power injectors, and various computers.
• Used to send and obtain patient information for care.
• Ability to perform procedures specific to area.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
• Registered Technologist Radiography (ARRT-R) and Current Ohio license.
• CT Certification.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing CT scanning protocols and procedures in Diagnostic CT.
• Provides patient care during visit to CT according to expected service excellence standards.
• Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department.
• Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with coworkers and staff.
• Initiates and maintains positive relationships with patients/customers and co-workers.
• Adheres to hospital CT safety standards.
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment.
• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Complies with all policies and standards.
• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients.
