Requirements

• Knowledge of principles and procedures of diagnostic radiology and CT.
• Operation and maintenance of Radiologic equipment generally acquired through the completion of two years post-high school training in an approved school of Radiologic technology.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and all/any apprehensions.
• Ability to instruct students and provide technical supervision to staff technologists.
• State license required and all applicable radiology education requirements.
• MRST, AART required.
• CT license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide CT skills and initiatives to the department mission through interactions with staff and others as necessary.
• Work as a Technologist on either East Newton or Harrison Avenue campus.
• Implement policy and procedures as determined necessary through CT Scan Supervisor and Radiology Administrative Director.
